The deadly collapse of wooden stands during a bullfight in Columbia should have been foreseeable in that one look at the arena would make one question how the seating lasted this long.
At least four people were killed when a section of the stands collapsed on Sunday, with hundreds more injured, according to Fox News.
“The disaster was caught on camera. Hundreds of screaming spectators were sent plunging to the ground when the multi-level stands gave way in a packed stadium in the city of El Espinal in Tolima state. It happened during a traditional event known as “corraleja” when members of the public enter the ring to engage the bulls,” Fox News reported.
