The Reason For My Faith: A Harlot's Faith That Moved A Mountain

For those who feel that God cannot, or would not, use you because of your past failures and embarrassments, please remember the way God used Rahab to bring His people into the promised land. In the account of Joshua taking Jericho, we have an example of a loving and forgiving God who can make vessels of honor out of weak unknown common humans. The account of this harlot should remind us all that God does not look at a man or woman’s past, but only at the present condition of their hearts.

I am a born again Christian who enjoys talking religion and politics. I have always believed that it is the Christian's obligation to understand the workings of our government as well as they do the precepts of God. Jesus tells us,
""""Be wise as serpents and harmless as doves"""" (Mark 10:16)
It is with this understanding that I approach life, I guess that is why I consider it every Christian's duty to understand the world we live in. If we pray for wisdom, God will grant us the knowledge we need to know the truth. Then we will be able to properly rule the world we live in.
