The real cancer in the western church is a vile, weak, feminine cowardice

The greatest cancer in the modern church is not the malevolent social justice heresy. It’s the malevolent hyper-love paradigm that most (yes, most) of the clergy and laity we’ve encountered for the last three years during our movie production are hiding behind in order to justify their refusal to truly confront it. Rather than confess “I have a terribly sinful pride problem and I prefer to be a man-pleaser” they like to describe themselves while smiling thusly: “I believe we need to be winsome.”
