Rep. Jim Jordan Says House Will Investigate Big Tech-Gov't Joint ‘Attack’ on Free Speech

Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) vowed to hold Big Tech and government accountable for censorship collusion. “I anticipate multiple hearings,” he said.

Jordan appeared on the “Just the News, No Noise” TV show Tuesday where he cited the Twitter Files. Jordan explained that the House Judiciary Committee plans to investigate how the FBI and other government agencies pressured tech platforms to censor users. “When government’s involved in pressuring and working with the private sector to keep information from the American people, we believe that’s a direct attack on the First Amendment,” Jordan explained. “This is something we will definitely look into in the Judiciary Committee.”

The institutions involved in violating First Amendment rights must be held accountable, according to Jordan.
