‘Red wave is BS’: Joy Reid accuses GOP polling firms of ‘insidious’ secretive plot to control the narrative

Joy Reid is the latest media personality to join election conspiracy theorists as she insisted that recent polling results were part of an “insidious” plan to influence the media.

Reid suggested on Monday night’s edition of MSNBC’s “TheReidOut” that Republican polling firms were behind the plot to deceive the media by fixing polls in order to favor their own political party. While many projections show that a ‘red wave’ may be building across the nation, Reid claims that the data has nefarious origins.

“If you get past those headlines and dig a little deeper, you would uncover an insidious and seemingly intentional campaign from Republican-backed polling firms to flood the zone and tip the balance of polling averages in favor of their candidates, to create a narrative that Republicans are surging and that a red wave is imminent and inevitable,” Reid said.
