Pharmakeia Doorways to Demons

The word ‘sorcery’ is mentioned only six times in the KJV Bible but is alluded to throughout the Word of God. This is not in reference to some Harry Potter spell casting but is a literal translation from the Greek word Pharmakeia which partially means to take any kind of drugs or mind altering substances. The use of pot, heroin, LSD, alcohol or anything that changes your perception can literally open a portal of influence from awaiting demonic sources. When we examine the vehicle of the drug fueled ‘Love Generation’ and the hippie movement which is itself a product of Aleister Crowley, we can easily recognize the long planned-out blueprint that was exposed throughout our nation from the 1960s on. Yet over the years it became more refined and normalized through the use of pharmaceutical terminology that resulted in a broad acceptance of scientific medical application with the potential outcome of an early demise. Learning to analyze ourselves in the light of Scripture should be a daily task of asking God to help us remove any footholds we have allowed to bring in any form of demonic control . We need to understand the war that is waging against us is to try and take us all out before repenting and accepting Jesus!
