Mom of TX school shooter says relationship with him was good: ‘My son wasn’t a violent person’

The mother of the 18-year-old killer who massacred 19 young children and two adults at a Texas elementary school maintains that her son was not a violent person despite the horrific carnage that he visited upon his helpless victims.

The Daily Mail caught up with Adriana Reyes on the day after her son Salvador Ramos walked into Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas and told the terrified children “You’re going to die” before opening fire with the only thing preventing a higher death count being the actions of a brave Border Patrol agent who intervened to eliminate the threat.

In the exclusive interview the alleged killer’s mom said that she was “surprised” that he would act out in such a murderously violent manner and that he was a “loner” who didn’t have friends and who “kept to himself.”
