My Pillow founder and CEO Mike Lindell, a prominent supporter of President Donald Trump, announced Tuesday night that he had been stopped by the FBI and had his cell phone seized in the process.

The shocking news that Lindell was stopped at a Hardees restaurant in Minnesota while heading home from a hunting trip with a friend swept the internet, prompted plenty of concern about a rogue FBI under President Joe Biden engaging in what amounts to a political purge against Trump supporters in the eyes of many.

“The FBI came after me and took my phone, they surrounded me at a Hardees and took my phone I run all my businesses, everything with,” Lindell said in a video making the rounds. “What they have done is weaponize the FBI. It’s disgusting.”
