January 6 Committee Chairman Supported REAL Insurrectionists

The ILLEGAL January 6 Committee Chairman, Benny Thompson, supported the REAL insurrectionists of the secessionist group the Republic of New Afrika which wanted to set up its own country in the Deep South in 1971. As you can see, the INSURRECTIONISTS of the  Republic of New Afrika were hardly peaceful and armed members of that group took over a farm near Jackson, MS. Among their defenders was one Benny Thompson.

Hopefully the next Congress will form a LEGALLY constituted January 6 Committee next year to find out what really happened including unearthing the testimony of Ray Epps which Benny Thompson says exists but for some reason can’t release right now. Thompson promised it would be released sometime in the future. Perhaps that future will be after a LEGAL January 6 Committee is formed. The good news for Thompson is that the statute of limitations on the 1971 insurrection has probably passed so he will be able to escape indictment for that.
