Frankenstein Tattoo

“Frankenstein, or the Modern Prometheus” was first published by Mary Shelley in 1818, when she was 20 years old. Originally, Shelley’s name was not included in the first edition of the iconic novel (it was 1818, after all), but when a second edition was released in 1821, her name was finally included.

To start with, we know that the green guy screaming about fire being bad as he’s chased by townspeople with torches is actually “Frankenstein’s Monster,” but let’s face it, we all call him Frankenstein. It isn’t the doctor that comes to mind when I mention Frankenstein, it’s the guy with the bolts in his neck. Frankenstein Tattoos is who we’re talking about when we say Frankenstein Tattoos.
