Fox’s Bill Melugin reams reporter as an ‘absolute hack’ over deceptive video edit

There’s nothing more egregious than misleading video edits, and now Fox News’ intrepid reporter Bill Melugin is calling out the deceptive editing that made it seem as if he was spreading false rumors.

In fact, it was the exact opposite—he was dispelling the rumors, and the blatant deception evinced by the video edit elicited a rare public condemnation by the usually unflappable reporter. The misleading edit was shared and allegedly altered by Timothy Burke, a former reporter for Deadspin and The Daily Beast.

Burke’s six-second video was posted to Twitter and chalked up over 322,000 views in a short period of time.
