Estate of Aaron ‘Jay’ Danielson, man killed in downtown Portland after pro-Trump rally, sues city, mayor and DA

The suit, filed Friday in federal court in Portland, alleges that the city’s and mayor’s “hands-off approach’’ to politicized demonstrations and counter-protests in Portland fostered a “culture of vigilante policing” between opposing factions that filled the void and led to Danielson’s death.
