DC archdiocese lets slip email that says media will ‘be ignored’ as Pelosi receives communion despite San Fran ban

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) took Holy Communion in DC on Sunday as the Roman Catholic Archdiocese slipped up and emailed a reporter a blunt response concerning her ban in California over her advocacy for abortion, noting that media requests “will be ignored.”

According to Politico’s Playbook newsletter, Pelosi received Holy Communion on May 22 during Mass at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Georgetown.

The Washington Examiner reached out to the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Washington, DC, seeking comment on Pelosi’s Holy Communion ban over her advocacy for abortion by San Francisco Archbishop Salvatore Cordileone. The media outlet received an email in response telling them that media requests would not be answered on the subject.
