Chernobyl Nuclear Plant still does not have power. This is a disaster in the making.
The only grid supplying power to plant is damaged from Russian attacks. It is now depending on a 48hr diesel fuel generator.
The lidless cooling pools have 20,000 fuel rods. Electricity is needed to continue pumping water into the pool.
If power is not restored or additional fuel is not found, cooling systems will stop which will result in radiation leak.
