CCP Twitter Account Lies Blatantly on Twitter, But Isn’t Censored for ‘Misinfo’

Exclusive: Twitter has a habit of practicing complete double standards, even now under Elon Musk—for instance, while Kanye West was banned for inciting violence, the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and Iran’s Ayatollah Khamenei continue to call for violence without censorship. Speaking of the CCP, despite Twitter being famous for censoring “misinformation,” the Twitter account for the Chinese Foreign Ministry Spokesperson just published a blatant lie on the platform, and Twitter hardly seems concerned.

Responding to a question about Canadian PM Trudeau saying he didn’t know of evidence the CCP interfered in foreign elections, Zhao Lijian insisted, “China never interferes in other countries’ internal affairs.” On Dec. 2, the CCP posted that video clip and statement on Twitter. Despite evidence of vast CCP interference in other countries’ internal affairs, there’s been no censorship, not even a context label. Why does Twitter not care about “misinformation” from US adversaries?
