CCP-Beholden Elon Musk Mourns Impending US Tyranny, Ignores Chinese Tyranny

Elon Musk pontificated about free speech and tyranny on Twitter again. While I am grateful for the good things he has done on Twitter, and his point about America is good, Elon’s history of pandering to the tyrannical Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and his silence on the pro-freedom protests rocking China now undermine Musk’s sincerity.

Musk recently pushed for increased Chinese investment in his artificial intelligence (AI) and brain microchip projects in a CCP state publication. He also said publicly that he thinks Communist China should control Taiwan, even though Taiwan is free and legitimate China while the CCP is an illegitimate, genocidal regime. Right afterwards, China gave Musk a tax exemption for Tesla. China is infamous for its control of online speech and its authoritarian surveillance state, yet Musk heavily invested in a Tesla China branch. Some of the Chinese protests are against harsh working conditions, and Musk’s Tesla plant in Shanghai, China, made news this year for the horrible conditions under which the Tesla workers were forced to live due to the lockdown restrictions.
