BIDEN ADMIN. TRYING TO SILENCE OPPOSITION VOICES AHEAD OF MID TERMS – DOJ seeks 6 months in prison and $200,000 fine for Steve Bannon

Recommendation is beyond laughable

 Steve Bannon should be sentenced to six months in prison and a $200,000 fine for “his bad-faith contempt of Congress,” the Justice Dept wrote in a legal filing on Monday. Bannon was found guilty by a biased jury on two counts of contempt of Congress in July for ignoring a subpoena from the J6 committee.

 The department submitted its recommendation on Monday ahead of his scheduled sentencing on Friday.
