Republican Dennis Hogan, is in a virtual tie with Democrat Mary Ann Crowell in the race for Hillsborough County Register of Deeds. Hogan got 81,388 votes and Crowell received 81,450, a difference of only 62 votes, a minuscule .038% of the votes cast. Hogan, a former Hillsborough County Attorney, has a very good chance of taking this seat.
